Q. Can agencies and property managers - as well as individual owners - list vacation rentals on your site?
A. Absolutely, owners and any of their agents: vacation rental agencies, property managers, realty firms, etc. are all welcome on www.myBlueChipRentals.com.

A. As a vacation rental agency, you have several listing options, depending on your needs:
  • If you own multiple properties, you can buy listings on our www.myBlueChipRentals.com site. Our listing prices are quite affordable compared to other alternatives - and are priced according to how many you manage (and want to list) and

Q. What do we need to do to get our vacation properties listed ASAP?
A. First, you need to Sign Up for your Agency account which takes a couple minutes. We'll ask for your contact information and that you read and agree to the Terms of Service. After that you'll have your own portal to enter/edit your property information, monitor communications with potential renters, change your account information, etc.

Note that after you've purchased listings, you can upgrade to VRA PRO at any point.

Q. How long does it take to get our listings on the www.myBlueChipRentals.com site?
A. If you have your vacation rental property information handy, it will probably only take 15-30 minutes per property to input the data. That depends, though, on how much detail you'd like to provide, how many photos you want to upload, etc. After you've signed in to your new account, you simply go to EZ Property Management to enter the information you have for your properties (and we do have a few brief instructions, e.g. for uploading photos, etc.). Once you've entered your rental information and save it, it will go live, immediately, on our site. Your photos will appear in approximately 24 hour after your account has been reviewed.

Note that if you choose our VRA PRO 90-day FREE trial option we'll import your current property information from your website.

Q. How do we make sure that we have really good vacation property listings?
A. Here are a few helpful hints for getting the best results from your listings:
  • Use several photos (taken with a digital camera, ideally in good sunlight and pick the best one as your property "thumbnail")
  • Check off all of the information boxes that are pertinent to your property
  • Provide the best descriptive title and information that you can
  • Keep your availability calendar up to date (and note that you can link your calendar e.g. to your website calendar very easily)
  • Keep your pricing up-to-date, and include pricing for at least 6-12 months into the future - and keep it competitive for your area!

Q. How often can I change my property information?
A. You can Sign In to your account as often as you like and change your information anytime you want. After you've signed in, just navigate to the property edit pages, make your changes and save. The changes will appear online, immediately (photos, though, usually take about 24 hours for us to review).

Q. Will vacationers be able to see a calendar showing the availability and pricing for our vacation rental listings?
A. Yes they will, AND e.g. if you have a calendar on your website now, you can replace that with link to your myBlueChipRentals calendar to show availability in one place online (for each property). Vacationers will be able to see black-out periods, dates already reserved, pricing, etc. which you can indicate on your myBlueChipRentals calendar. Note that with VRA PRO, your calendar and every step in your vacation rental process is fully, and automatically integrated.

Q. How do vacationers contact us about our property?
A. Vacationers can call you directly, fax you, or email you regarding specific dates. The Contact the Owner on our site requires the Vacationer to provide key contact information online. Then, once submitted our system forwards that information to your email address.

You can handle the next steps with the vacationer according to how you want to do business - as far as getting a rental agreement signed, getting a deposit, etc. - and virtually all of your rental processes can be fully automated with VRA PRO. If you use our VRA PRO your Property Listings, Inquiries, , Master Calendar, To-Do Lists, and Accounting, etc are all linked together and you can access any information you need 24/7 online and get a quick overview on your Dashboard.

A. VRA PRO is designed specifically for vacation rental agency businesses (of any size), it has a full range of functions and is integrated to your website, includes all set-up and services, a summary "Dashboard" that provides quick access to all functions and information, and allows you to manage owners and their properties.

OwnerPlus is a product designed for the owner that helps them easily manage their rentals online and includes features such as online reservations, workflow processing of bookings etc. It does not include the ability to manage other owners properties or have the range of features that VRA Pro does.

Q. How do we put a Featured Listing(s) on your site?
A. Agency clients with an established account (and listings on myBlueChipRentals.com can get a lot of extra online marketing bang for not a lot of money by featuring one or more properties on the www.myBlueChipRentals.com site. You can place a featured listing(s) for 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months and pay by credit card after signing into your account.

Q. How does myBlueChipRentals.com provide visibility online for our rental(s)?
A. You probably have your own website, and you may or may not list your property(s) on other vacation rental listing sites. Regardless, myBlueChipRentals.com is an excellent online venue to "show and tell" about your vacation rental. Because of our ongoing search engine optimization work and investment - and resulting large volume of search traffic -- your vacation rental will be found a lot easier and a lot more often by vacationers who arrive at www.myBlueChipRentals.com site page links (usually via specific geographical "vacation rental" or related search) that appear on Google, Yahoo, MSN or other engines.

Note though, that we can't actually generate bookings for your agency. We'll help market your property(s) online, but in the end it will be your locations, quality of properties, availability - and of course, prices - that get you consistent bookings online.

Q. Can we have our own website link with our listing?
A. Absolutely, and we encourage you to do so - especially IF you have pretty good (or better) website. You can provide a link to the specific listing that you've entered into your myBCR account.

Q. What kind of support do you provide if we need help or assistance with our listings or VRA PRO?
A. For Agency listing clients, we are available by email during business hours, M-F, from 8:00AM-5:00PM. For VRA PRO Agency clients we are available both by phone and email during business hours - and will respond as rapidly as possible to your inquiry.

Q. I forgot my password. What should I do?
A. If you are an Agency Listing client or a VRA PRO client, your user name (email address) and password are the same and your account is accessible either on www.myBlueChipRentals.com or www.VRAPRO.com. Click the Sign In button on (at the top right of any page) and then on the Agency Sign In, click "Forgot Password." Once you re-enter your email address (user name), we'll email you your password. Plus, you can go into your account and change your password at any point.

Q. What is a Property Listing Review?
A. Vacationers who stay at your rentals are given the opportunity to rate the accuracy of your property listings compared to their actual stays at your vacation rentals. These reviews then appear with your www.myBlueChipRentals.com listing. Reviews are intended for both your benefit and the benefit of your potential rental customers.

Q. What if the review is inaccurate or submitted by someone who did not stay at my property?
A. We require information that will enable us (and you) to verify if the person submitting the review has stayed at your property or not. Also, if the review is otherwise deemed false or malicious, we will purge it from our site.
